Sarah Stolte

Sarah moved to Trappe, Maryland from Alexandria, Virginia in 1992. After retiring she was able to devote more time to painting. She paints primarily in watercolors and is especially attracted to capturing the disappearing landscape of the Eastern Shore: the abandoned house, the marshes, or a quiet sail. She studied at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, and under Lee Boynton and Joe Mayer.
