Jane Bollman
Education: Hood College Bachelor of Art (with departmental honors); post-graduate study at the Maryland Institute College of Art; Master of Liberal Arts from The Johns Hopkins University, Woman's Management Development Program, Goucher College.
Employment: Baltimore County Public Schools art teacher and department chairman (seven years); Director of Financial Aid, Goucher College (five years); Associate Director of Student Financial Services, The Johns Hopkins University (three years); Director of Volunteer Services, The Union Memorial Hospital (eight years).
Art related activities: Member Working Artists Forum, Plein Air Painters of the Eastern Shore, and the Friday Morning Artists. I enjoy the rich and unique opportunities for painting in the area, as well as my association with other area artists. I accept consignments in both painting and faux finishing walls and furniture. One man shows include: Dorchester Fine Arts Museum, Avon Dixon Insurance Company, and the Sylvan Learning Center. Prizes include first prize in graphics at the Chesapeake College Art Show in 2005, and honorable mention in the Local Color Show of the Plein Air Easton Competition 2006.
